history: While he was a child his mother had died giving birth. his died had tried hard to raise Jake up on his own but they had no home so Pokemon attacked them regularly. soon after a year his father died after fending of a pidgeot who he had taken some berries from. the pidgeot was about to attack Jake, but a mysterious power arose within the baby and a giant golden Pokemon appeared in front of Jake as the pidgeot flew off the Pokemon stared at Jake its power flooding within Jake and it disappeared. from then on instead of attacking Jake, Pokemon often assisted him helping him reach berries, taking him to a river, and carrying him when he got tired. At the age of 8 Jake went to the police but they checked there files and they told him that all known blood relatives he had were dead. He went of to live 4 more gruesome years on the streets, and hunting for his dinner, but he was glad that at least the Pokemon were there for him.

Nobody knows of this, the police man Jake went to was murdered a week later, all the files about Jake and his parents were erased as well, and no one else had ever known of Jake, because he usually slept in trees or in caves out of sight. He was found on the streets at the age of 12 by a women, the same women who gave birth to ash ketchum.
the mother was told he had no family at all, they were all dead. Jake was taken in by the mother who treated him like a son and looked after him for 2 years before he went to prof oak and started his adventure. Prof oak had told him all about the world of Pokemon and gave Jake a small egg witch oak told him had come from hoenn and was very hard to get. Jake was told to return once the egg hatched. He was having his dinner with his mother before the egg started wobbling and soon hatched a baby torchic. Jake trained it to walk and use attacks and showed around pallet town and route 1 before returning to oaks house like he was told. oak gave him a pokedex and pokeballs with that he went off on an adventure for 4 years earning all the badges in kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh, the frontier badges, and all the elite fours before settling as a gym leader in sinnoh.
